The genre bending album has its roots in disco and dance music, but is tied together by a healthy dose of jazz, where spontaneity and the simple joy of playing is ever present. The name ”FEATHERWEIGHT” is used both as a metaphor for boxing, and, literally being light as a feather. It’s about the paradox of channeling greatness, effortlessly.”
